Jennifer is a passionate refugee advocate who, prior to joining the Democracy Alliance in June 2022, worked with NGOs to provide life-saving aid to vulnerable populations across the Middle East and East Africa. Before moving to the DC metro area, she spent time as a research assistant at both Harvard University and the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she collected and synthesized data for a UN study on persons with disabilities. Jennifer was also a Field Coordinator for an NGO on Lesvos, Greece, leading and supporting a team of 15 volunteers working in a refugee camp that supported over 800 residents, providing shelter, psychosocial support, food, electricity, cultural and educational activities and more. She is a passionate activist with great hopes of positively impacting as many people as possible throughout her life.
