At the DA, we have a plan: through ambitious investments in the evolving media ecosystem and a surge of resources for organizing efforts, we’re meeting multiracial working people and young communities where they are. Running parallel to our election protection strategies, our online and offline organizing are the heart of our plan to meet the high-stakes moment before us.
Media is key to winning hearts and minds. Yet time and again, we have lost the battle in this space—letting oligarchs and authoritarians dominate with disinformation and propaganda. We’re investing boldly in a pro-democracy media ecosystem that offers a vibrant and authentic alternative, and reaches people where they are.
Our approach moves beyond the old maps and status quo. We’re investing strategically in key opportunity states like Alaska, Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi, and North Carolina. With a focus on sustained grassroots organizing as a corollary to our media efforts, we support on-the-ground organizations that build power and meet the needs of multiracial working class and young voters.
Authoritarians are working overtime to suppress the vote, rig our elections, and undermine Black political power in particular. To stop them, we are supporting smart and nimble structures that accelerate cross-state coordination, champion the right to vote, and deepen people-powered mobilization to safeguard our democratic process.
