Liz brings nearly 15 years of national, nonprofit and political communications experience to the DA. Prior, she was on Capitol Hill serving as senior adviser and communications director to California congressman, Ro Khanna, and during the 2016 election cycle, she was Managing Director for Communications at the Center for American Progress. Before joining CAP, Liz led the media relations practice at Fenton and handled press outreach for the Sunlight Foundation and Americans for the Arts. Outside the office, you can find Liz commuting by bike, rarely running the same route twice, or in the Pilates studio. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she misses Kennywood days the most. Liz is a graduate of The George Washington University where she received a bachelor of arts in political science and minored in dance and journalism.
