Jillian Murphy is a Political Advisor at the Democracy Alliance. She most recently worked as the Associate Director of Climate Communications at the Center for American Progress Action Fund, where she directed CAP Action’s political and electoral engagement on climate change and environmental issues. She has worked across various environmental and progressive campaigns, with tenures at the Climate Action Campaign, Earthjustice, and Environment America, and on the campaign trail in Iowa. She serves on the board of Georgia Conservation Voters. A native of Atlanta, Murphy graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
