Founded in 2005, Faith in Public Life (FPL) has a base of more than 50,000 faith leaders, bringing a moral voice to battles for democratic norms and rights. Focusing primarily in the South (Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia), the Midwest (Ohio), as well as Maine and Alaska, FPL’s approach is to lift up new voices and new messengers, providing the skills and support for them to be heard on issues such as SNAP cuts and health care. In 2018, FPL is leading a Faithful Voter project grounded in African American communities and Volante Fiel, which activates Latinx community social networks.
