CoWorker.org is an online platform designed to support workplace rights campaigns. By identifying critical workplace issues and one or more worker leaders, CoWorker.org’s online petitions generate offline campaign activity and win real—often immediate—change. CoWorker.org engages employers large and small, advancing victories, such as a policy change at Jimmy Johns to accommodate dreadlocks and tattoos; Netflix and Keens Footwear expanding parental leave; and Starbucks improving scheduling practices. More recently, CoWorker.org has started targeting municipal elections to ensure worker representatives on every governing body.
